Two Japanese Bronze Incense Burners (koro)

Late 19th century, includes a tall squared shaped koro censer with patterned ground, raised up on four legs with wave motifs, the sides are flanked by two bat handles, on the other two sides of the body are a phoenix and a dragon, the cover has four reticulated cloud shaped openings and an immortal lays in high relief as the finial with a child on his back, signed to underside with three characters, the second is a smaller pumpkin gourd shaped koro censer with reticulated cover having a stem finial, raised up on three leaf feet.
