Circa 1869, model number 640, with spherical body and tall neck, the body engraved with foliate and floral design surrounding an applied oval medallion with portrait of a young woman in relief, the lower belly with period monogram "CAM" above the date 1869, engraved "Adella" to neck below spout, raised on a conforming foot, portrait medallions applied to each side of shaped spout, the handle with applied palmette thumb guard.

A near identical pitcher is in the collection of the RISD Museum, Providence, Rhode Island, and was included in the 2019 traveling exhibition Gorham SIlver: Designing Brilliance 1850-1970.

Several very minor dents to body; unusual applied strap to interior of neck near handle, possibly original.
