The first featuring two pencil sketches matted and framed in one mahognay veneered frame, the top image depicting a small collate with pump well by a tree, unsigned, the lower image a street scene with the "Luther Haus," inscribed and dated June 27th, 1881 at top left corner (Frame dimensions 21 x 17 in.); the second a watercolor and ink sketch of a market scene before the "Hôtel de Cluny" in Paris, matted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 18 x 21 in.) (toning to sheet).
