19th century, a single black lacquered screen panel decorated with figures on a fox hunt, they figures and landscape is inlaid with different colored hardstone, red lacquer paint, bone, and mother of pearl, the surrounding border is raised and painted in gilt, the reverse side has red matte paint with delicate gilt floral sprays.
