Circa 1853, ink and colors on paper, woodblock print, oban pentaptych, signed Toyokuni ga in red cartouche to lower corner, publisher seal Shimizuya Naojiro, with censor seals, each print with a single figure silhouetted against a bridge and the evening sky, presented loose.

Each print 13 3/4 x 9 1/2 in.

Fading to color; each print is lightly backed; prints are secured with tape to other in accordion manner; small holes to top and bottom corners.
