J.C. Arsenault began tying flies professionally in 1930. He utilized rare materials and hackle to develop important flies such as Green Highlander, Orange Blossom, and Silver Betsey. He developed the legendary Rusty Rat and tied it first for Joseph Pulitzer. He was a master at the art of fly tying and his flies are highly coveted.
