Early 20th century, shaped crest rail with carved foliate ears, pierced back splat, upholstered seat, shaped arms with scrolled and relief carved knuckles, tobacco leaf carved supports, four front cabriole legs with acanthus carved knee on hairy paw feet, four rear down-swept legs.

Fair condition; the left arm with chip/loss at stile joint, the same arm with break/repair at support joint; later upholstery; scuffs to the feet; plugs to the interior of the legs from an original stretcher location (no longer present); break/repairs to the right arm.
