Qing dynasty, Qianlong period (1736-1795), a pair of dark blue ground bowls decorated to the exterior with a band of elaborate gilt lotus scrolls, above a lappet band and key cloud motif encircling the foot, interior with turquoise enamel, four character Qianlong seal mark to underside, of the period.
