The first depicting a branch from the common larch, inscribed "Ilfrecombe March 1830," matted and framed under Museum Glass (Frame dimensions 12 3/4 x 9 1/4 in.); the second a branch from the wild plum, dated 2-4-1918, matted and framed under Museum Glass (Frame dimensions 10 x 7 3/4 in.).

Both with light toning to sheet; larch with minor foxing; neither examined out of the frame.
