Qing dynasty (1644-1912), likely 18th century, ink and colors on silk, a vertical painting probably previously a hanging scroll, a Chinese emperor is shown seated under a pavilion surrounded by servants and advisors, below appear to be Mongols with Chinese children all staring at an wild boar or pig, at top is a scene of warriors rushing off into battle, a fortress in the distance, framed without cover.

Frame dimensions 52 1/2 x 21 3/4 in.

Repaired tears at top portion of the painting and top right hand side; some scratches and pulls to the silk ground towards top and at bottom; overall toning to silk; general wear and possible retouching of pigments.
