19th century or 20th century, hand-painted, pages from likely two separate manuscript with vivid illustrations in jeweled colors of Persian figures in narrative scenes, both professionally framed in identical manner, not examined outside of the frame.


Smaller page (Sheet 7 3/4 x 5 1/4 in.; Frame dimensions 16 x 13 1/4 in.); Larger page (Sight size 8 3/4 x 5 in.; Frame dimensions 15 1/2 x 11 1/4 in.).

Both pages with some discoloration to margins, the larger one with discoloration on bottom extending into the lower band of text, some tears to edge of smaller page an dirt to edges, additionally two areas with ink to lower right margin; both pages not examined outside of the frame.
