19th century, includes a porcelain plate hand painted in famille rose palette and gilt with scholars engaged in calligraphy to the center and a thick surrounding border with scrolling peony blossoms and vines with shaped cartouches against a gilt ground, and a light blue cloisonne cup with a myriad of flora in different colors to the exterior, metal foot and rim.
