19th century, very finely painted square side vase with elegant trumpet neck and round mouth with lip rim, raised on short foot decoration with wan motif, each of four sides are finely painted with different birds and flowers, yellow ground scrolling lotus pattern to neck with bats, peaches, and other auspicious motifs, shoulder of vase with deep ruby ground and fanciful bats at each corner with ruyi on scrolling vines, underside has been drilled straight through red seal mark.
