19th century, a mirrored pair of hand painted famille rose vases with a continuous landscape encircling each vase containing a myriad of finely painted birds flying and perched amidst blooming branches and large peony flowers, ruyi head handles flank each vase, neck is decorated with lotus flower and scrolling vines against a rose pink ground, vases have been drilled and mounted as lamps with carved wooden bases and beaded metal top mounts, with single light bulb fittings, comes together with shades wrapped in plastic protective covering.
