The first in Kings pattern with partially worn mark likely of Richard Crossley & George Smith IV, London,1809 date mark, handle with engraved crest of Leask Clan of Aberdeenshire with Latin banner "Virtute Cresco" ("I Increase By Virtue") (8 5/8 in.); the second in fiddle pattern, mark of William Eley & William Fearn, London, 1803 date mark, with engraved crest (8 1/2 in.). Save crests, both without monograms.
