Edo period (1615-1868), circa 1857, ink and colors on paper, includes a triptych of three elaborately dressed figures taking a boat ride, lovely irises framing the boat, and a two sheets from a another triptych, all prints are signed to lower area of each sheet in a cartouche, each print with a publisher's seal and censor seals, presented loose.

Triptych sheet each 13 7/8 x 9 3/4 in., Diptych sheet each 15 x 10 3/8 in.

The triptych as been trimmed and backed with Japanese newspaper, wear with losses to the edges, two right hand prints are joined by backing paper, some fading and discoloration, the diptych has wear with some minor losses to the edges of both sheets, some light fading to color.
