This decoy with a dowel rod in the head is made in the same style and manner as redhead published on page 365 of Gunnin' Birds by Kroghie Andresen. Many of his decoys ended up at the Gooseville Gun Club.

Original paint worn to bare wood in most places, mutitple age checks in body and head, wear to tip of the bill, working repair to the neck.
