Rufus Roberts made several stands of very attractive diver ducks. He made most of them in the 1920s and 1930s when he was operating the Roberts Brothers Lodge. He made several versions of canvasbacks but they all have his characteristic heavy chine line in the body. His decoys are much more rare than his Churches Island counterparts such as Burgess and Hayman.
Exhibited at Duke University 2023.

Old gunning paint with light wear.
