The first a teaspoon with mark of Palmer & Ramsey (active in Raleigh, 1847-1855), no monogram (5 7/8 in.) (wear to tip of bowl, some denting); a spoon with retailer's mark of John M. Beasley (active in Fayetteville, 1838-1889), period script monogram "JAJS" (9 in.) (very minor mis-shaping to bowl); a sauce ladle with retailer's mark of J. Y. Savage, possibly that of the son of Raleigh's John Y. Savage (active in New York), period script monogram "JAR" (6 in.) (good estate condition); and a set of four teaspoons with mark attributed to William H. Thompson (active in Raleigh, circa 1850), each with period script monogram "MCE" (each approximately 5 1/2 in.).
