Edo period (1615-1868), a group of eleven woodblock prints by various artists mostly featuring female figures from kabuki plays, Japanese narrative literature, and general beauties engaged in leisure pursuits, all prints are presented loose.

Sheet size (largest) 14 3/4 x 10 in.

Some of the sheets appear to be trimmed; some sheets with wear and small losses and worm holes; some wear to edges of sheets with loss; a few sheets with soil and staining; a few sheets that are brittle with some cracking to paper and losses; some sheets with breaks and losses to paper around edges; three prints secured to paper mats along top edge; two prints are connected.
