The first a small balance scale with brass pans and six (6) weights, the lid's underside with a printed label naming Jacob Scibenberg (?) the maker and having a manuscript date of 1749 (1.5 x 5 x 2.75 in.) (latch missing); the second scale, also a balance device, with a manufacturer's label naming the maker as "Joh. Pet. Braselmann" and dated 1788, with seven (7) weights and an empty compartment for fractional weights (1 x 5-1/4 x 2-1/2 in.) (Pans need to be re-strung to balance).
