Four Antique American Tabletop Triner Scales, Including Fairbanks

Late 19th century, cast iron and brass, including two by Fairbanks Company, the first a balance scale marked for weighing gold and silver, with patent date of 1895 to beam (5 x 10 x 4 in.), the second a postal scale of similar form, with company medallion mark to base (5 x 9 1/2 x 4 in.), both with cast raised Fairbanks signature to base edge; the third a postal scale marked "Made By / THE AMERICAN BANK SERVICE, CHICAGO" to plinth form base (5 3/4 x 10 3/4 x 4 in.); the fourth and largest also a postal scale, attributed to American Bank Service, similar in form to the third (6 3/4 x 19 x 6 in.).
