19th or 20th century, hanging scroll format, ink, colors, and gold on paper, features three attendants gathered around the Goddess Bodhiruma, one attendant is holding a basket of flowers, one a lotus bloom above the goddess' head with lotus blossoms and charms hanging down, the goddess wears an elaborate crown and jewels and long flowing robes, in her left hand she holds the flaming jewel of wisdom, a man appears through the clouds to the left carrying a hanging censer and above a white elephant is sprinkling down jewels from the swirling pastel colored clouds, with an ivory silk brocade mounting and wooden rollers.

This style of Buddhist painting was popular in Ming and Qing dynasties and sets referred to as "Water and Land Ritual" (Shuilu) paintings. For a similar example, see the painting of Guandi, ca. 1700, Qing dynasty (1644–1911) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Venerable Celestial Bodhiruma, ca 1740 at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Overall very good estate condition; some horizontal creasing to paper; some minor losses to pigments.
