Showa period (1926-1990), ink and colors on paper, includes a woodblock print by Katsuyuki Nishijima (Japanese, b. 1945), Hiranoya, and a woodblock print by Eikyu Matsuoka (1881-1938), Manazuru, Izu Province, circa 1930s, both prints are presented loose.

Matsuoka 11 5/8 x 15 3/4 in., Nishijima 10 x 13 in.

The Nishijima print has some light overall toning to the paper, an area of black ink at lower right margin corner, some mounting tape remains to reverse upper margin corners; Matsuoka print has some overall toning to paper, some areas of discoloration mainly in margin area where mounting tape was previously, some bleeding through of publisher stamp to reverse onto front right margin.
