Serial number 01235600, made in Nashville, Tennessee; black finish, bound top and fingerboard; two pickups; the fingerboard with pearloid position inlays, Gibson Deluxe tuners; the instrument comes with Gibson hardshell case proudly "Made in Canada."


The top of this guitar is signed by Green Day's original members: Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool, and Mike Dirnt. The instrument was acquired by its present owner on October 5, 2005 during the Fortune Battle of the Corporate Bands at the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame. Gibson, a sponsor of the event, donated the guitar to an auction supporting the Hall of Fame's Education Fund. McKinney advertising agency, based in Durham, North Carolina won the national competition and also won the signed Les Paul at the fund-raising auction.
