Includes Red Gate at Hongo in Snow, dated Showa 10 (1935), lower right hand side "Shiro" with red "Kasamatsu" seal, with a Watanabe 6mm seal on lower left corner, this print features the bright red gate erected in 1827 by Maeda Nariyasu to welcome Lady Yasu-hime from the Tokugawa shogunate family as his bride, it became the entrance to the Tokyo National University in 1903, later moved but still in existence, it has been designated a National Treasure and an Important Cultural Property, and Spring Snow at Torigoe Shrine, Asakusa, dated Showa 9 (1934), signed lower left hand side "Shiro" with red "Shi" seal, with Watanabe publisher's seal in lower right margin, both prints are presented loose.

Each sheet 10 1/4 x 15 1/4 in.
