19th century, a tall porcelain vase with scalloped rim, hand painted in famille rose palette with two large shaped medallions filled with warriors at battle on one side and noblemen and warriors at court on the other, surrounding ground outside of the medallions is decorated with lush melons, peonies, and fanciful butterflies, faux handles of Chinese boys in robes holding bamboo stalks between them flank the neck.
