Length 15 in.

This rare hen has an inletted head which rocks from front to back. It is very similar to the decoy pictured in plate 426, page 202 of Southern Decoys of Virginia and North Carolina by Henry Fleckenstein, Jr.

Old gunning paint possibly original, multiple age checks in the body, most of the head professionally replaced by Cameron McIntyre.
