Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (1662-1722), a delicate and very rare porcelain jue hand painted in the famille verte palette with mythical beast mask faces to the sides and the front interior lip, surrounded by blossoms on green ground divided with interspersed flanges, the body is raised atop three elegantly splayed legs with archaic mask heads at the top washed in light yellow, to the interior is a Chinese character.
