1920s, hard case, having the flat top and bottom designed by Vuitton to maximize cabin storage space, each is covered in monogrammed coated canvas with LV stamped clasps and studs, monogram lozine trim, canvas lined interior with removable tray, one case has "G.C.R." painted on the side with Saks & C label and Louis Vuitton label #776196 affixed to the lid.
The second case has a label "Arthur Gilmore" and a Vuitton label #77203, "MTR" initials painted on the case.

Each when flat 9 x 30 x 18 1/2 in.

Scrapes to lozine trim; marks to canvas and some tears; interior stains an a few tears to canvas; both handles replaced. Age and travel wear.
