Likely Kangxi period (1661-1722), porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue with a continuous narrative landscape featuring groups of male figures engaged in the four scholarly pursuits: music, weiqi, calligraphy, and painting, nice knife cut glaze at foot rim, two blue circles to underside, comes with a wooden cover.
