Second half of the 19th century, unknown manufacturer, marked "185 / 4," of oval form raised on four stag legs with hoof feet, the handles modeled as stag heads, the domed cover with reclining stag as finial, engraved decoration to body and cover, no monogram.

11 x 15 3/4 x 8 1/2 in.

Several dents to body, including one deeper dent to interior well of tureen; light scratching; minor wear to plating; minor mis-shaping to edge of cover.
