Three Chinese Hardstone Plaques and Bi Disc

The first a celadon bi disc (2 in. diameter); the second a pale celadon circular plaque carved with auspicious symbols including a bat and ruyi motifs, with unmarked and untested gold tone bale and mount (2 1/4 in. diameter); and the third a milky white rectangular carved plaque with floral motif centering around the Chinese character for love, joy (xi), with unmarked and untested gold tone bale and mount (2 x 1 3/8 in.). Each with carved hardwood stand.

The Estate of the late Frank Daniels, Jr. and his wife Julia Jones Daniels, Raleigh, North Carolina. A portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the North Carolina Museum of History Foundation
