19th century, a porcelain teapot decorated in famille rose enamels with gilt highlights on a yellow ground, having four round medallions each containing one of the four characters “wan shou fu jiang” (wishes for a long life without end) amidst swirling clouds, six character Guangxu mark in iron red to underside.
4 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 in.
Two slight nicks to interior rim and one nick with loss of enamel to underside of rim of spout.
