Meiji period (1868-1912), a large porcelain vase bulbous at top and tapering towards the bottom, hand painted in underglaze blue with cherry blossom shaped registers containing "The Three Friends of Winter" plum blossom, bamboo, and pine, surrounded by wave motif ground, in raised relief two white glazed dragons encircle the vase, the vase has been drilled and mounted as a lamp with a single light fixture, does not come with a lampshade.

Good estate condition; vase has been drilled for lamp fitting; vase has not been examined outside of the lamp mounts.
