Two double-sided molded colorless glass profiles, one with etched lilies motif signed and dated "Adensamova '83," both set in a chrome stand.

30 x 20 x 8 in.

Titled "The Queen of Glass", Blanka studied under the glass maestro Stanislav Libenský. She received the Prize of Masaryk’s Academy of Arts in Prague (1996), the Promotion Award, Glass ’84 in Tokyo, Japan, and the Honour Prize in Erfut, Německo (1978 and 1982).

Blanka Adensamova’s works have been exhibited all across the world and can be found in public as well as private collections including the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, and the National Museum of WA in Washington (USA), the Museum of Glass in Ebeltoft (Denmark) and in Frauenau (Germany), the Galerie Lobmayer in Vienna (Austria), the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo (Japan), the K. Danderfer in Vancouver (Canada) and the Umělecko-průmyslové Muzeum in Prague (Czech Republic) to name just a few.

Some scattered scratches to glass and chrome; spotting to chrome; both with some chipping to glass at fitted base areas.
