Ike Merrill Gallop decoys reflect the classic, southern Currituck style. Since they were made before the turn of the century, they are mostly small. The sloping tail is the trademark for southern Currituck carvers from this area.This redhead is branded and was part of Ike Gallop's market hunting rig.

Original paint worn to bare wood in places, hit by shot, working repair to the neck.
