Second half 19th century, mark of Atkin Bros., pattern number 3319, oval form wooden body with silver plate strap fittings and double handles, lid with naturalistic finial depiciting a goat standing on rocky precipice, interior with removable period Copeland porcelain insert (likely original), without monogram.
