20th century, the chest is carved with auspicious symbols for celebrating a marriage, two hinged doors open at front decorated with registers painted in red and gilt having lotus blossoms above and chilong dragons in the shape of the Chinese character for good luck in the middle, below are scenes of happy married couples within a key motif border, interior with three shelves, in a fitted base.
