19th century, a porcelain vase with celadon ground hand painted in famille rose palette to one side with Chinese noble figures within shaped registers, the other side with the Eight Daoist Immortals in gilt, the surrounding celadon ground is populated with scholarly objects, flora, insects, butterflies, and bats, the neck is flanked by pairs of gilt painted foo lions shaped, vase is drilled and set into a carved wooden base, with metal mount at the top, single lightbulb fixture, comes together with a fabric shade.
