Two Chinese Paktong Ink Boxes

Early 20th century, includes two square lidded boxes, the first a larger box incised with tiny Chinese characters, copper lined interior and base, base stamped with two character mark, and the second a smaller box also incised with tiny Chinese characters, copper lined interior and base.

Larger 1 3/4 x 5 x 5 in., Smaller 1 x 3 x 3 in.

One with loose interior; both with rubbing, wear, and loss to interior from use; some minor surface pushes and loss at edges.
