20th century, includes two uchikake kimonos, the first with ivory silk ground having a geometric pattern embroidered in metallic thread with a myriad of large floral blooms, braided rope, and decorative wheels and drums, as well as origami cranes, and the second with ivory silk crepe ground embroidered in polychrome silk and metallic threads with large pink, red and aqua blooms arranged as fans amidst metallic pine needle branches, both kimonos have red lining, these robes were meant to be worn as an outer coat during a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony.

Overall excellent condition; floral kimono with some loose threads to sleeves and lower area of kimono, a few scattered stains.
