20th century, includes two uchikake kimonos, the first with ivory silk ground having a geometric pattern embroidered in pink and white silk and metallic threads with red crested cranes flying amidst large peony and chrysanthemum blossoms, and the second with red silk ground embroidered in white, blue, and metallic threads with phoenix birds and elegant Chinese style chrysanthemums, both of these kimonos are lined in red, these robes were meant to be worn as an outer coat during a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony.

Overall very good condition; pink blossom kimono with some loose threads on sleeves and near hem, and some light stains; red kimono with some light marks at edges of sleeves and near bottom hem, a very small tear near hem at lower back.
