20th century, a pair of large ginger jars with peony scroll decoration and double happiness motifs, key motif encircles the shoulder of each, covers lacking, drilled and mounted in carved wooden base with single lightbulb fixture mount at top, both with identical oval blue stone finials.

Private Collection, Raleigh, North Carolina Good estate condition; drilled for lamp fitting; both with hairlines to rim of jar; glaze defect to foot rim on both; jars not examined outside of lamp mounts.
