Charlie was a hunting guide and worked with Uriah Garrish at David Keppel's lodge in the 1920s and 1930s. He worked with wood his entire life as he made decoys, boats, and decorative carvings later in life.

Old gunning paint with moderate wear, working repair to neck, hit by shot on left side head and body.
