John Fulcher is best known for making the famous rig of yellowlegs which are arguably the most recognized decoys from North Carolina. He carved some attractive duck decoys but they are so rare that they are relatively unknown. His widgeon and pintails have exceptional head carvings.

Original paint worn to bare wood in most places, working repair to neck, wear to top of the head, age checks in body, wear to edge of the tail.
