20th century, ink, colors and gilt on paper, a group of Japanese warriors dressed in early Japanese period armor riding horses being led by archers with torches and surrounded by attendants, the dramatic scene shows great energy as the warriors rush towards battle on their horses away from the house in the lower right, with a red artist's seal to lower left corner.
