20th century, two octagonal shaped porcelain plaques hand painted, the first with a pair of birds under a large lotus plant, and the second a red bird on a blooming plum blossom branch, both with inscriptions and signed together with red seal by artist, the two plaques are set within an elaborately carved giltwood frame with bats flying amidst scrolling tendrils, above is a scene of two boys on a terrace, with shaped metal hanger at top of frame.

Frame dimensions 25 x 14 in.
