Wallace moved his family to Aydlett in the 1920s and bought a farm. They established a small lodge called the Wild Game Inn. He sold his market hunting rig in the early 1920s to Jospeh Knapp. Knapp founded Ducks Unlimited in 1937. This decoy is an extremely rare species by the maker and is considered his finest work.

Original paint with some minor paint loss on each side, puppy chew to the tip of the bill, age check to head right side, age check to bottom.
