Length 14.5 in.

Pierce followed in the footsteps of his uncle, Sal Fulton who taught him to become a wildfowler in the Havre de Grace waters. At the age of 13, he made his first decoy and followed the style of other local carvers including R. Madison Mitchell. By 1952 he was producing decoys from his own shop. Later he helped found the Cecil County Upper Bay Decoy Museum as well as the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum.
